Windows 10: What is G.exe and why is it installed on my Windows 10 surface PC

After I had performed an offline scan with Windows Defender, I did not receive any notifications of any malware existing on my Surface machine. On a restart, I get the message the a program G is running and preventing a restart. After a few seconds is shuts down anyway.

A web search for G.exe (G__.exe) shows that this is potentially a malware.

Microsoft Support does not have anything on this app and Defender did not detect it as being malware. When I search for this program on my PC it does not find it.

So can you investigate and advise the community of (a) what is G.exe, (b) what does it do, (c) how do we safely remove or control this unwanted app, and (d) if it really is malware, when will Defender be updated to detect and remove this app?

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
