Windows 10: What is Java Worm

Today, after my system has been idle for a couple hours, I sat down and sow a small message box saying something about Java Worm infection. The message had a row of asterisks above and below the message. Don't know what program generated the message, but I closed in and ran a few scans which found no threats.
I googled "java worm" and found much info on this.

I was hoping someone here could clear up my concerns about this threat.

Worm: Win32/Rebhip.Z and Worm: Win32/Rebhip.U

Hi,

my computer has been infected by these 2 viruses (Worm: Win32/Rebhip.Z and Worm: Win32/Rebhip.U). Whenever I scan with Windows Defender it does not find anything. However, when i reboot the computer it automatically quarantines them each time i reboot.

How do i get rid of these viruses?? Is there a safe program outside of Windows Defender? I tried deleting some temporary files and updating my java and chrome as this website suggested but no luck. Please help! Thanks!

 

Virus/Spyware/Worm or what ?

Hi, y can get rid off of these bad things by doin these things:

1. Format the memory card on PC usin card reader and clean up the card by PC's default anti-virus system.

2. Format Phone memory by *#7370#

But if y want to avoid these steps then buy F-secure from their site or get BitDefender-it is free and take less time.

What scans did you run?
Worms can spread throughout your entire network, and are a real pain.
Please fill in your system specs.

Reboot.

Then, Malwarebytes Antimalware (free).
Malwarebytes | Free Anti-Malware & Malware Removal

Go into the settings and check the box to scan for rootkits, then run a "full scan" of your system.

Post the log if it finds anything.
