    what is Mercury from Apps and services under microsoft account?


    I already went ahead and remove it, I got this email today I am not sure if Mercury is connected to EA games or something else I also have Gog Galaxy and Epic Games Launcher and my wireless gaming mouse new mouse is using Logitech G Hub software. G502X Lightspeed and powerplay for the logitech mouse setup. I just have had the mouse for like a week now, in any case I don't recall any software title named Mercury and remove it when I got the message around 4PM here, the email was from 12:54 AM, my desktop pc was off around that time.

    I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

    Cannot link/add my Microsoft Account to Local Account

    Hello Ken,

    Im using Win10 Build 1607 with all latest update.

    I also run all related troubleshooters:
    • Windows Update
    • Store Apps (says i have to login in my microsoft account but thats the problem, i can't)
    • Microsoft Accounts

    No Problem found. Also the suggestions from Microsoft didnt helped.

    Your account can be logged in on the official website and Microsoft Store, which means that it is completely fine to log in to the service and account.

    You can flow these steps to try solve the issue:

    1. Click search on the taskbar, type "services", and click to open the Service App in the search results.
    2. Search for the services starting with Xbox in the Service list, and make sure they are all enabled.
    3. Then, please reopen the Xbox app and the Minecraft launcher, and click Login to see if you can enter the account password to log in successfully.
