Windows 10: What is Microsoft Windows Codename Longhorn

Cause I'm curious I only know it's beta Vista

where do i get the ISO of windows codenames such as whistler ,memphis,longhorn etc?

You can't download those development versions of Windows:

- Widows Whistler: Development codename for Windows XP

- Windows Memphis: Development codename for Win 98

- Windows Longhorn: Development codename for Windows Vista.

If you need any of those old Windows versions then you have to try find installation media of released versions of those old Windows versions.

 

Windows Server "Longhorn"

The Windows Server code-named "Longhorn" is the successor to Windows Server 2003. Numerous sources suggest that the Operating System will be name Windows Server 2007 or 2008, depending on its release date. The Longhorn server beta program will be launching within the next few weeks. Microsoft is allowing public preregistration for beta testing of the upcomming "longhorn" server operating system. Allegedly Microsoft will have it available for download within the next week or so.

Windows Codename Longhorn 5048 Installation BSOD

I have a Dell XPS 630i that had Windows 7 Ultimate and I burned Windows Longhorn 5048 on a DVD-R and I wanted to have Longhorn on my XPS so I put the DVD in and the installation starts, then it says Windows needs to restart so I take a break while it reboots,
little did I know that a BSoD error occured, when I come back I see error 0x0000007B, what do I do?
