I turned on my computer this moning and noticed that it wanted a password to get into my computer. However, it has never asked before and I have it set up to never ask for a password. I reboot my computer and booted back correctly. However, I wanted to know, just in case it happens again and the reboot does not work, what would the password be?Is the password my email address. The splash screen shows my companies name, so I am guessing that is it, but I do not store passwords on paper and I really do not have access to my passwords unless I am logged into my computer, as I do not need passw

There are some factors that we need to consider regarding this issue changing the password on your Windows 10 like built-in password from your manufacturer. To properly diagnose this issue, we would like to ask for a screenshot of the actual login screen.

PC in safe mode and change your Windows 10 password, you can follow the steps provided below:

• Press the Windows key.
• Select Settings> Accounts> Sign-In Options.
• Click the Change button in the Password section.
• Re-enter your password.
• Create a new password.

Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”
