Windows 10: What is Process Managers "Active Time" ?

I have an external USB HDD showing 100% "active time" in Task Manager despite low read/write activity.I have an external Western Digital My Passport external Portable HDD USB 3.2 Gen 1 - ‎WDBPKJ0050BBK-WESN DeviceOn Windows I am getting 100% Disk activity on Windows Process Manager interspurced by sporadic Read Write operations reducingOn plugging in th

Completely remove Microsoft Process Manager?

I suggest you to check if the Process manager files are present in the program file and delete it.

• Press Windows Key + E.
• Open the drive where you have installed the OS (usually C drive)
• Click on Program files.
• Check if there is any traces of the process manager and delete it.
