    What Is Recommended Procedure For Endless Boot Up Time?


    Win10. 1909 I think - but I can't get in to check.

    Computer this morning suddenly won't boot. Endless circling dots.

    I've read a few old threads with a swag of ideas on things to do and generally no definite conclusion on what actually fixed it when it did get fixed.

    So I thought I'd start anew and see what the recommended procedure is today?

    • When do you get this error message?
    The "Remote procedure call" error might be displayed when a service called upon by Windows is not responding. Do you get the error message even after you restart the PC, I would recommend you to boot the computer in Safe mode and check if the issue
    persists.

    • Have you checked if the hard disk is set as first boot device in the BIOS?
    • Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
    • What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?
