Windows 10: What is the best Ryzan 9 cooler

Hey guys,

I was wondering what people were using to cool there Ryzan chips, up until my New Ryzan 9 I have bee quite happy with the stock cooler and was generally running around 40C which I was happy with, the Ryzan 9 is averaging 60C with an old water cooler on it. Any recommendations?

What is the best Ryzan 9 cooler

Although the Ryzen 9 is a 105w chip, the Corsair 100i, should be able to cool it. I would think that either the cooler itself is the problem (radiator dust buildup, mounted in wrong place or direction, pump that's starting to go, etc), OR... it's as simple as you need to redo the thermal compound.

As for which cooler is the best... a cooling LOOP is the best of the "normal" cooling solutions. For the rest, it depends on a few factors. Ambient room temp, does case have good airflow, and again, the quality and application of the thermal compound.

Lastly, these Ryzen chips are... able to run much hotter than AMD's earlier chips, like the FX 8350 for example.

What is the best Ryzan 9 cooler

The Hydro 100i should be better than a stock air cooler.
- Check if it is well fixed over the CPU.
- Check the pipes connections.
- Check the fluid level.
Read the manual.
