    What is the best way to copy a windows profile on the same computer? Same user - new domain.


    We are about to change our windows domain. We'd like to leave their user profile identical. Is it anything more than just joining that PC under the new domain? I'm concerned about computers with multiple user profiles.

    How to merge user profiles after joining new domain

    We are in the process of moving to a new domain. In the new domain we will have new user names.

    How can I merge the old profile with the new one? Preferably through a script as we need to move 2000+ computers from the old domain to the new one.

    The "copy to" option in the user profile settings is grayed out for all profile except for "Default Profile".
