Do I need to go to Microsoft Chat? I have a conflict with Zonelarm and two recent updates. I was advised here that if it is those updates to uninstall them, yet if so, I might be without a firewall. I have considered that there is Windows Defender, but I do not really know how to use it, as I used Zonealarm for years, and it seems more user-friendly. It will add programs itself, then it allows users to adjust the settings. Windows Defender appears that the only option is to try to find programs and add them manually. Please let me know if that is the case.I also have been advised that if there

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

What is the best way to resolve conflicts with Windows updates in Windows 10?

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/defer-upgrades-in-windows-10

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
