    What is the difference between Cross-language Windows 7 and Windows 7?


    Hello everyone,Well, I'm trying to upgrade from Windows 1.0 to Windows 10, but when I got to Windows 7 and tried to upgrade to Windows 8 I am only given the option to keep personal files only or nothing. I tried to search online and they say that while Windows 7 can keep apps and settings, cross-language Windows 7 cannot. The post can be found here. Can somebody help me? Also, can anybody provide me a download link for it?If there's a way to edit the iso so that it bypasses then please share it with me!You're welcome.

    Using original Win 7 Key with different installation language

    Good and bad news!!!

    The good: i've found the language packs (unsure if the English one is the same as the one in Windows Updates, but i think so). There are many other languages for both x86 and x64 systems.

    The bad: it's not in CAB file so i can't add it to the Windows 7 Installation.


    @ least, it's a step in the right direction.

    That is pretty much it.
    MUI packs are only available in the entreprise or ultimate editions of windows 7 (and windows vista).

    Your best option is to get a windows copy with your native language and reinstall.

    EDIT: Oh, and all versions of windows 8 have MUI packs.

    Hey guys i have an imported note book with windows 7 Home Premium in Italian language but i can understand only English i have searched some topic about language changing packs but all packs only support Windows 7 Ultimate or Professional versions.can someone help me?
