    Someone asked a question about moving their photos and music libraries to a different drive in a group I belong to. I told them how to get to the options mentioned but was not sure what the difference between "Move" and "Find Location" is in this. I told them I believe "Move" means it will move all the files in that library to a new location whereas "Find Location" only changes the directory to the new location without moving the files. Is this accurate? If not what is the correct explanation of what those do?

    Where are Win 10 Start Menu Program Properties (like "Start in")?


    Thanks for the suggestion.

    I tried doing exactly what you said, but after I do the Open file location step, what happens is that a new File Explorer instance is launched which views the folder that contains the tile program. There is (generally speaking) no shortcut inside that folder--instead, that folder contains the real program.

    It looks like the old Win 7 Start menu's Properties menu functionality seems to have totally disappeared, I am sad to report.

    The information provided by you in the post, seems to be the Location tab is missing under
    Properties.



    Usually the Location tab will be present under
    Properties     for the folders listed under Quick Access (Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures) and folders listed under
    This PC (3d Objects, Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures, Videos).



    In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please provide us the screenshot of the windows where you are not able to get the
    Location tab under properties. (Please follow the steps mentioned in the

    screenshot     posted by Shawn ‘Cmdr’ Keene on Oct 2, 2015 to post the screenshots.) Do not share any personal information in the screenshots.

    Context menu "Properties" uses "o" shortcut instead of "r"

    One of our Win10 laptops has a context menu with "Properties" that uses shortcut key "r". The other uses key "o" which conflicts with "open". I have no idea how it got corrupted. Suggested locations in the registry for context menu doesn't list it. Software tools work on old windows or only delete/disable context menu items.
    How can I fix this?
