Windows 10: What is the easiest and fastest ways to clean up your file after a data transfer?

I need a way to organise all the files on my old PC after a data transfer to a new PC. I have several Desktop files, and other duplicates, and not very much time to accomplish this. Thanks!

I agree with a couple statements about transferring over the network. It is the fastest and easiest way to transfer.
As Dan and Athlon said, you could also take the drive out and put it in your desktop and transfer that way as well.

OMG. I have never met anyone who actually bought one of those file transfer things.



Firewire will do the same as USB, but faster, so will a cheap crossover cable. I can wlak you through the steps of moving data so you will not miss a beat.




Anything more than $10 to buy a cable is too much.
