Windows 10: What is the EdgeTaskeUpdater, and why is it taking a lot of space on my disk?

So I found this on the ProgramData folder. Inside the ProgramData folder, I see an folder saying "MicrosoftEdgeTasker". I opened it up and saw a very big program that weighs 1.03 Gigabytes 1,107,384,576 bytes, 1,107,386,368 bytes on disk. What does it do? Is it safe? Is it okay if I can remove it? Thanks in advice!

Taking into consideration that the free space is shrinking fast, it is possible that your system is creating restore points. To
delete restore points except for the recent one, simply follow the steps below:

• From the Cortana search box, type Disk Cleanup and click on the first result.
• Once the Disk Cleanup window appears, select the
  More Options tab.
• Under the System Restore and Shadow Copies column, click on the
  Clean up... button.

Once done with the steps, see if your disk space has expanded.
