    Hi,I am currently in the process of upgrading an existing WPF application from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 8. One of the critical components of our application relies heavily on the "Microsoft.Expression.Effects" library for various graphical effects.Given the significant changes and improvements in .NET 8, I am writing to inquire about the compatibility and support for the "Microsoft.Expression.Effects" package within this new framework.     Microsoft .NET Framework, Unhandled exception

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to un-check and recheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series from Windows features.

    Try the following steps:

    • Press Windows + R keys to open Run command.
    • Type Appwiz.cpl and select "turn Windows feature on or off" from the left
    • Uncheck .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer
    • Repeat step 1 and 2 and check .Net framework 3.5 and .Net framework 4.6 advance series.
    • Restart the computer.

    Microsoft .Net Native Runtime Package 1.1.23101.0

    I'm having the same problem - from the MS Store Downloads and Updates page, there are 5 queued. Three have the status Starting download, Microsoft .Net Native Runtime Package 1.0, Windows Maps, and Microsoft .Net Native Framework Package 1.0. The other are
    Pending. This has been this way since at least november 7. Pausing and resuming the store updates has no effect. Selecting the Check Updates button results in the rotating dots icon again until the dialog is dismissed, no messages, etc.
