Windows 10: What is the fix for Microsofts Glitch in Find My Device

This is a defective feature that you have. Please advise how to correct this. You have a feature that allows for laptop users to set up in the event that their laptops are stolen you go into the account.microsoft.com account and Device. Find My Device, you select that laptop, find my device and if you select LOCK it never changes to unlock but you will get an email that it has been locked and that an administrator can unlock and even if you are an designated administrator you are not able to unlock it. You can change your password and it will not allow you to unlock even in safe mode. Please a

Microsoft Store Glitched?

Did you perform every single step in the list above? The reason I ask is that I have given that list thousands of times and it always works. if one of the earlier steps is not successful then the Repair Install should have fixed it. When there is no report back or mention of any of the steps it makes me wonder if they all got done.

Please do not skip any steps. We often find out later that the fix was the skipped step. If you need help performing any step I will help.

Please go back to the top of the list and report back results of each step so I know what to suggest next.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

• Is this the only account on the computer?
• Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.

WILL I LOSE MY FAVORITES LIST FROM IE11 IF I CHOSE MICROSOFT EDGE FOR MY BROWSER?

No, you will not loose your favorites' list.

With regards to glitches, I suggest you to follow the below step.

Update the display adapters.

Update the Display drivers:
Step 1. Press Windows and X keys together.

Step 2. Click on Device Manager.

Step 3. Display Adaptor

Step 4. Right click on the graphic driver and tap on update driver through windows update and check if it helps. And for more information I suggest you to refer the link below.
