Windows 10: WHAT IS the FIX? i am unable to find why office suite pro 2016 Outlook, Edge and Network...

unable to find why office suite pro 2016 Outlook, Edge and Network Trouble shooter also the hidden icon that when connected changes from a ball to a display icon Network Status to name a few programs ALL THINK I am NOT CONNECTED TO A NETWORK.


AT the VERY SAME TIME I was using Firefox browser to log in to amazon account.


IF I COULDN'T CONNECT USING ANY BROWSER, WHEN I GOT NOT CONNECTED I WOULD RUN ALL THE CHECKS LISTED for a not connected to network.


But REMEMBER at the SAME TIME I was ABLE TO log into my Amazon account. so I HAD TO HAVE INTERNET ACCESS, I also browsed web using Firefox browser, going to sites I NEVER saw before so I made sure what I was seeing was NOT a stored file.


using win 10 pro. have latest updates.


any ideas to check would be nice.

G Suite Legacy, Outlook 2016, and OAUTH =

Starting February 15, 2021, G Suite accounts will only allow access to apps using OAuth. Password-based access will no longer be supported.

I have G Suite Legacy and Outlook 2016.

There appears to be no upgrade path to OAUTH when using G Suite Legacy and Outlook 2016 together without "upgrading" (e.g. spending money) enrolling in a subscription plan from G Suite Legacy to G Suite Basic and afterwards going through the steps to install GSSMO so that Outlook 2016 can connect to G Suite over OAUTH.

Is this correct or is there actually a way to retain G Suite Legacy and use it with Outlook 2016?

We recommend that you reinstall your Office Suite. Follow the steps below to reinstall your Office.

• Uninstall your Office 2016.
  
  Note: Make sure you have your Office 2016 product key with your before uninstalling your Office suite.
  
  Option 1: Download and run this Fix it
  tool to uninstall and completely clean up your Office installation.
  
  Option 2: Uninstall Office from your Programs and Features.
  
  
  
  1. On your keyboard, press Windows logo + R and type
  Appwiz.cpl.
  
  2. On your Programs and Features window, look for Microsoft Office 2016.
  
  3. Right-click then select Uninstall.
  
  4. After that, restart your computer.
  
• Install your Office 2016. Follow the instructions on this
  link.

After that, configure your Outlook again.

I'm thinking option one is going to be my only option. I'm fine with that as long as I can get Outlook to work with my ISP's pop3 e-mail. Last time I tried that with the new 2016 install I could not get it to work, no way no how. All the same settings that work with the ISO install?

EDIT: I should mention, for me as far as I know, neither of these options are a subscription. They use two different keys but they are perpetual one time activation licenses. I only ran the new download briefly though, as I could not get outlook to work. I bailed and went back to what works.
