Hello

I am also having this problem, exactly the same as above, no preview and cannot insert in word. I have used the maths input panel frequently with no issues until today.

I have not added any new software recently.

Please help.

I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

  Open Tablet PC Input Panel by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type
  Tablet PC Input Panel, and then, in the list of results, tap
  Tablet PC Input Panel.
  
• 
  Tap Tools, and then tap Exit.
  

If you don't see the Exit option, do the following:

• 
  Click Tools, and then tap
  Options.
  
• 
  In the Options dialog box, tap the
  Opening tab, clear the For tablet pen input,
  show the icon next to the text box and Use the Input Panel tab check boxes, and then tap
  OK.

Math input panel not working on windows 10 and surfaced pro three

When I try to use the math impute panel on my surface pro 3 it will allow me to draw an equation but will not insert it into any program I tried, nor will it preview the equation in the panel. I have tried to use it with Word 2013, Microsoft Mathematics,
notepad, and Edge Browser.

I am running windows 10

Any Ideas how to fix this problem?
