Windows 10: What is the meaning of reset this PC option????

My desktop PC has pre-installed os as windows xp.

After that I installed windows 7 genuine.

With that product key, I upgraded it to windows 10 now.

Now it is running windows 10 pro.
But, now it is not working well. So I wish to reset my desktop PC.
I wish to remove all files in the hard drive and want a fresh hard drive with new os......



1st Question::::

How can I do this????
Please give a brief explanation...


2nd Question ::::

If I reset it, will I need to buy a new product key???????

3rd Question::::::

If I reset my desktop, will it reinstall the windows xp os which came pre-installed or it reinstall windows 10 again???????

4th Question:::::

How can I reinstall all my apps and softwares????


Please answer all my questions with exact answer.....

Please guide me in a detailed way.....

No "Reset This PC" option

• Where exactly are you looking for the Reset this PC option?
  
• Were you able to successfully clone the drive?
  
• Could you please provide more clarity on, “On original hard disk the WinRE recovery partition was last partition. On new hard disk that partition had moved to first position”?
  
• Were you able to get the Reset this PC option by following the steps mentioned in the article provided by you?

Unable to reset the pc

Hello,

If you are having that message while trying to reset your computer, We suggest you to create an installation media for Windows 10 using Media
Creation Tool and perform a Reset.

Once the installation media is created, follow the steps below:

• Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
• On the Install Windows screen, select Repair your computer.
• On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot. From there, you can use Safe Mode. Select
  Advanced Options >Reset This PC>Remove everything.
• After the reset is complete, check for status.

Give us an update on what happens.

 

Windows is not activated following "reset this pc"


Thank you @NavyLCDR, I tried your suggestions but still have the same issue.
@Superfly, My main issue is the fact that sppsvc.exe won't start and throws the Error 5 (Access Denied). I tried changing permissions, taking ownership etc. but still have the same issue.

I guess my next step is another restore :-(. I assume you mean a fresh install because the original issue was caused after I clicked "Reset this PC" option in system settings?
