Windows 10: what is the "open in terminal" prompt mean

I have screwed up my work station royally. 1. Fighting One Drive, I deleted my documents folder, until I found the solution I should have believed the warning .... Now, I cant get to downloads, but there is another download folder that has an arrow and has an "open in terminal" prompt. I dont know what that is, so want to avoid further damage. 2. I had copied information from an old backup computer from a thumb drive, and performed the correct eject instructions, and the message said that it was safe to remove the hardware -- but now I'm getting prompted with "cant open D:\ drive."Any h

You Need To Enable Touch And Keyboard Handwriting Service On To Fix This Problem To enable Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service, follow these steps:

Press Win+R in combination to open the Run dialog box.

In the empty field of the box, type Services.msc and hit the Enter key to open the Services (Local) editor.

locate Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service entry under Name section.

Now double click it

Change The Startup Type To Automatic If It Not Already

Then Click The Start Button Then Click Ok And Close The Window

Now Relaunch Windows Terminal Your Problem Should Now Be Fixed

command prompt will not open in safe mode with command prompt

Command prompt is only accessible from the Administrative Profile, this is to prevent general users from accessing and bypassing controls.
One method is to remove the drive and connect it to another system.
