  1. What is the "savtsfa" file and why is it being triggered each 10 minutes?

Bear with me on this one.I recently noticed that I'm having an issue where an unknown app opens up and then closes after split of a second. Naturally I got worried that I could've catch some viruses, so I ran Malwarebytes, it removed what it could and I moved on. But it didn't fix the issue, so I started digging. I recored my desktop and I was able to catch it on video - it looks like an app with blank icon. I wasn't able to catch what the window looks like since I didn't know at the moment that the "mysterious app" launches on the active screen and I was recording my second screen.I checked

Task scheduler On Idle task not triggered Windows 7

Windows 10: I've just tested on windows 10 and set the task idle time to be 5 mins, but it
still triggered after 4 mins only, I've manually timed it 3 times and always triggers after 4 mins not 5 mins, any idea why?

Windows 7: Isn't the task triggered because Windows 7 does not admire the 4 minute idle timer as
according to Microsoft Windows 7 checks if the system is idle every 15 minutes? if so then shouldn't it work if the task idle time is set to 20 mins for example?

UPDATE : I just tested it and manually timed it twice on my Windows 7 machine and it always triggers after 15 mins of Idle time even if I am setting the Idle task to 20 mins. Also my
application doesn't start although the task is triggered but instead of my application running a screensaver starts running although I am setting screensaver to off on my machine. Any explanations or advice please?

WMI suggestion: Could you advise with the steps step by step to follow to do you WMI suggestion
    please?

10+ minutes waiting for Sign-In dialog.

Since the SFC tool failed to find any issues, the next step we would suggest is to perform a Disk Cleanup to speed up your computer's performance. To know more on how to perform this process, kindly click on this

    link
    .

We also suggest clearing the contents of the Prefetch folder. This is where Windows stores the bootup files. Deleting what's in this folder will trigger the system to refresh the bootup process. Here are the steps:

    • Right-click on the Windows icon on your home screen.
    • Type prefetch then press Enter.
    • Once you have the folder up, press Ctrl + A on your keyboard.
    • Press Shift +Delete.
    • Click on Yes.

Let us know how it goes.

  4. What is the "savtsfa" file and why is it being triggered each 10 minutes?

Task scheduler On Idle task not triggered Windows 7

    Here you go:

    1. Put the following two lines into the file

      C:\Users\Fcis_M\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Netlogon.bat

      @Echo off

      start /b "CPU Poll" wscript.exe C:\MyWinFormApp\PollCPU.vbs
    2. Save the script file I posted before as

      C:\MyWinFormApp\PollCPU.vbs
    3. To test it, double-click

      C:\MyWinFormApp\PollCPU.vbs
    4. If you want to modify any of the parameters, e.g. the CPU loading limit, then you must do it like so:

      1. Run taskkill /f wscript.exe

      2. Modify & save the script

      Rerun C:\MyWinFormApp\PollCPU.vbs

The script will launch automatically at logon time. Further refinements are possible, e.g. building in a delay of 10 minutes after logon time.
