    What is the shortcut key combination to switch to a specific desktop?


    I want to be able to access desktops without opening the task viewer to switch between them. E.g. I want to press something like Ctrl+Win+3 and move to desktop 3, Ctrl+Win+4 to move to desktop 4, etc. I am familiar with Ctrl+Win+Left/Right, but having to laterally through multiple desktops is slow and barely better than using alt+Tab. Even having a Ctrl+Win+H to move to the first desktop Home would be helpful.

    Hi Mik-Dav,

    The desktop shortcut created for a specific website should bear the website's actual logo. With what you've experienced, there could be something wrong with how the shortcut was created.

    If you've created the shortcut by selecting Create shortcut, then we suggest that you try the other way, that is by dragging the website icon that appears in the address bar to your desktop. Follow these steps:

    • Using Internet Explorer, access a website.
    • Once the website opens, you will see its icon in the address bar.
    • Click and drag the icon on your desktop.

    The website shortcut bearing its actual logo should now be saved on your desktop.

    Key combinations not working

    Thanks for following up. In here, you can find the list of all the keyboard shortcuts in Windows 10. Check it out and
    see which key combinations are still working on Windows 10, and which are not.

    We also tested on our end and only the Alt + F and Alt + P are working fine, and this is on a PC that is on the Fall Creators Update. May we suggest that you update your operating system to 1709 and see if the key combinations will work.

    We'll keep an eye out to your response.
