Windows 10: What is the specific settings for sea thieves

I got sea of thives for christmas but cannot play since the personal settings apparently are wrong - it does not say what is wrong so whar do i need to check in order to play. it is an child account with an adult account connected. Please be specific. we have now spend many hours trying top make it work

Today I downloaded sea of thieves on my windows 10. I opened sea of thieves and it suddenly closed the game after a split second, I tried multiple times but got nothing, any suggestions?
