What is the function of the folder c:\windows\system32\wbem?

I'm trying to expunge HP Sure Click which was installed on my new laptop. I uninstalled Sure Click but the Sure Click Chrome Extension remained and was greyed out so nothing could be done with it. Uninstalling / reinstalling Chrome and deleting all Chrome app user files worked for a week but the Sure Click extension reappeared today after a Google update!

I only found one reference to a Sure Click file in the Registry which referenced a Sure Click file in c:\windows\system32\wbem. I'm unsure what that directory does but I zapped the registry entry and referenced file.

    :)

C windows installer folder - Delete?

He can do symbolic link redirection and move the files in it to a different location. *Wink What is this folder for - c:\windows\system32\wbem ? ;)
Better try it out in a virtual of first. Just a suggestion.

    Like:
First move everything in c:\windows\installer to d:\installercache
    Then delete c:\windows\installer folder
Then type this in command mode as admin
    mklink /d c:\windows\installer d:\installercache

Removing those installer files is a bad idea. it might prevent you from updating or uninstalling apps.
