    What is this part of Windows Explorer, and how do I control what folders appear or do not...


    Lots of threads about how to manage "This PC," but this is not that. I don't want folders appearing there, and/or I'd like to add folders there and pin them. How do I:- Remove folders that are there now? - Prevent Windows from adding folders there automatically?- Add folders there myself?

    How to make vista display same icon size for all opened folders in explorer ?

    i dont think this answers the question , how do i make all icons in all folders appear "Large Icons" .

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
