Im going to start this nightmare on 12/8 after working late i come home and 1 just by luck happen to see a fold cyberwe er dated/!modified 12/8:1220 tho empty, using search date modified i see many more going next to the eventviewer logs an file integrity is three critical errors, un expected shut downs afterwards it boots up and instals several diferent http bluetooth an other bluetooth drivers a hands free service, audio device 39 new devices the last two being some phone book app snd i snd modem to bluetooth link the paired to an old andriod phone with no service and made phone calls?? I know this because several of the device IDs in the logs were a match to that phone also took sreenshots of allm

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I understand your concern and I will certainly help you with it.

Many apps don't use all cores. They aren't programmed for it. Then they will use one core and will overload it.

But you can tell Windows to run that process on 2,3, ... and in all cores.

For doing it, follow these steps:

• Open Task Manager
• Select tab Processes
• Right click and select 'Set Affinity'
• Select on which cores you want to run process.
