Windows 10: what is wrong with my hp laptop, when powering on it doesnt power on the screen thn the fan...

i havent tried anything because i dont know yet what can be harmful for my laptop

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power

How to fix blank screen, no fans and power button on HP Pavillion

Hi! This morning I was using my laptop and all was fine. I never shut it off, only closed the lid. I went out and came back, opened the laptop and the Operating System Boot Mode Change screen appeared. I pressed the esc key to exit the menu, and now the laptop is unusable. I press the power button, the power LED turns on and it just stays there. No display flickering and no fan spinning. I attempted to connect an HDMI to get an output to no avail. I have tried everything, from unplugging the battery and power plug to let the electricity drain to attempting to flash a BIOS recovery from a USB using Win + B (a feature on HP laptops). Is there anything that I can do to fix the laptop? The laptop is an HP Pavillion 13" with a Core i5 10th Gen and 8GB of RAM.
