  2. xHCI hand-off Windows 10

    Hi,

If your Motherboard has an xHCI setting in BIOS and you want the USB Ports to function as USB 3.0 in Windows 10, set your xHCI hand off to
    enabled.

You may need a driver from the manufacturer. This is turning over control of the port from BIOS to OS.

    Regards.

    xHCI hand-off Windows 10

    Hello,

i would like to know how i'm supposed to set xHCI hand-off in BIOS (UEFI) when using Windows 10. I read somewhere that in Windows 7, it should be enabled, but what for Windows 10?

    Thank you for answers

What is XHCI Hand-Off in BIOS of Windows 11/10?

    xHCI hand-off Windows 10

    1. I have built my own computer from parts, so the motherboard is Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H.

    2. I want to know if Windows 10 natively supports xHCI hand-off, i have this setting in bios and I looked in the motherboard manual and there is written that it is a workaround for operating systems without xHCI hand-off support. I tried
to search the internet and i mostly found that Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 doesn't natively support it, so the option in bios should be enabled. Now I ask if Windows 10 supports it, because I want to have USB 3.0 speed without limitations.

    Thank you
