Windows 10: What part of Windows keeps telling me that my password is expiring?

I have a Microsoft account that I use to log onto my computer and various Microsoft services. I've gone to the Microsoft Accounts site and turned off the periodic reset of my account. But every day when I log into my computer, I get a message saying that my account is about to expire and when I followed its prompts, I ended up changing my password and had to spend the better part of my day re-signing onto the various Microsoft services on my phone with email with Outlook being the most troublesome to get working again (hence why I attempted to turn off password expirations). But this prompt keeps coming up regardless of what I've set on my accounts.



Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

If you are using a local account, you may remove the password and set a strong password again. To remove the password, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows Key + R.
• Type control panel and click on Ok.
• On the top right corner, change the view by to large icons.
• Click on User accounts. And then click on manage another account.
• Under the list, select your account and click remove/delete password.

Once the password is deleted, you may go to the same settings to set a new password.
