Windows 10: What PDF software is good to get? ....and a WAKE UP CALL for everyone

I use the computer extensively and try to get the best tools I can get, while keeping the prices down if possible.Maybe 7 years ago I had Adobe Acrobat for PDF software. It was a volume license that I bought as a used disc off ebay and I called Adobe to make sure the license activation number was legitimate before I installed it. They said yes, it's legitimate, so I installed it on my computer. Over the next few years I had to uninstall Windows on my computer a few times and I re-installed Acrobat a few times on that computer and on a new computer that I had two additional times and all was fi

I use:

• UnityPDF to merge/split PDFs and to insert/extract pages

• doPDF to create PDFs from any program that is capable of printing

• Foxit Reader to view PDFs and to type in them

Regarding your PDF documents, the location will be based on where you saved the files. For your second inquiry, your documents can be converted to a PDF. If the original file is from Office Word, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

  In Word, select File > Save As.

  Select where you want to save the file.

  Type a new File name if you want.
  
• 
  For Save as type, select PDF.
  
• 
  For Optimize for, select an option: Standard or
  Minimum Size.

  Select Open File After Publishing, if you want to open the file after you save it as a PDF. This is selected by default.
