Windows 10: What program lets me view Tasks in task scheduler and has some info. on what each task does?

I want to see them so that I can disable them one by one I'm disabling useless ones.

I suggest you to clear the task from Task Scheduler using the below steps and check if the issue still persists.

Steps:-

• Type Task Scheduler on Search bar.
• Click on Task Scheduler Library.
• Select the particular task and right click on it.
• Select End.

Task Scheduler crashed

Hi,

I have no issue creating new Task schedule. The issue arises when I either,

• Edit a task, or
• View the task and click the "Conditions" tab.

 

Tasks still show in Task Scheduler despite being deleted

The OP has not mentioned deleting any program files.
The folder identified by the OP contains Task scheduler task definitions and nothing else.

I am not trying to suggest that the method the OP used is a good one.
