I'm afraid when the security alert flashed up on my screen I panicked and foolishly dialled the number and the so-called Microsoft security person was so convincing and telling me that I had a Trojan virus that I allowed him access to my computer. It was only when he started talking about my banking accounts that I realised I had been scammed. However, I concerned what happened in my laptop and what she robbed from my document and what can do with my information. I had a lot of passwords in my laptop that was save. I cleared my cache but i dont know what she have from me. How will I know?

Downloads folder is the Documents folder

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.

How to burn a document to a cd in windows 10

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
