Hello community, I purchased a Windows 10 Pro Digital License under my Microsoft account via order number 12001750911 on 24th September 2016, and I used it to upgrade the product-installed Windows 10 Home of my old PC at the time. Now I have recently bought a new laptop that has a product-installed Windows 11 Home in it, and I have heard from the community that I can still use my purchased Windows 10 Pro digital license to upgrade its Windows 11 Home version to a Windows 11 Pro version on my new laptop. As my license is digital I don't have a product key to upgrade it using conventional activa

Upgrade Window 10 Home digital license with Windows 10 Pro product key

When trying to upgrade from windows 10 home to windows 10 pro we are getting this error 0xc004f050. The original license is a digital license and the upgrade we are trying to perform is a purchased license key.

 

Transfer digital Windows Pro license to new computer

I had a major failure on a Dell laptop that had Windows Home on it when I purchased it. I upgraded it to Windows Pro through the Windows Store and received a digital license. I purchased a new Surface Pro that came with Windows Home and I would like to move the Pro license from the Dell machine to the new Surface Pro.

I can see the Dell computer listed in my account and it shows that it has a Windows Pro license. I can't see any way to move the Pro license to the new computer.

 

Windows 11 Pro for Workstations upgrade is not activated on digital license

Purchased the Windows 11 Pro for Workstations upgrade. First time upgrade was successful. Now my digital license only shows Windows 11 Home. How do I reconcile the upgrade to my digital license?
