  1. What should i do with my new two external 2.5 hdd/ssd enclosures?

Hi, I just received my new orico Fiberglass Hdd/SSD Enclosure for my two hard drives from older laptops.

What should I do with them? I'm thinking one is for keeping some apps and/or files on, and the other is to backup those apps and/or files.

But are there anyways to get some pc performance from them or anything, if the only to do that is by moving apps to that external hdd i would, if there are more ways, can someone tell what they are?

    :)

  2. How to Change Boot Disk from Internal HDD to External SSD

If I were you, I'd remove the SSD from the enclosure and replace the HDD in the PC. You'll get the most speed advantage that way. You probably can then put the original HDD in the enclosure and use it as n external device.

What should i do with my new two external 2.5 hdd/ssd enclosures?

OS on new SSD, keep existing data on HDD and use as external drive

I want to use a new SSD to run my OS on my PC. I have a lot of data on my HDD and dont want it on the SSD but do want to keep it.

I have read that you shouldn't use an external drive that has Windows installed so how would i go about doing what I need?

I.e. get Windows onto the SSD, replace HDD with SSD, use HDD as external drive, and keep data from HDD on HDD.

    Thanks!

(P.s. any guides or instructions to any steps would be great but if not then no issue)
