I have a laptop that recently started rebooting, over and over. Thinking the SSD drive had died, I installed a new replacement SSD of a matching size from a major manufacture. Then, by performing a system recovery, installing the Windows 11, updating Windows, and reinstalling my Windows 365 programs, I have verified that it is NOT due to any hardware issues. This has been tested and verified by leaving the laptop running literally over night and working on a Word file for several hours the next morning. Then after performing a deep scan using Windows Defender finding no problems, it sudde

  2. Windows 11 Laptop Randomly Reboots

Random reboots can be caused by a number of different issues, including hardware problems, software conflicts, or power issues.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check for updates: Make sure that your laptop has the latest Windows updates installed, as well as any drivers or firmware updates provided by the laptop manufacturer.
    2. Check for overheating: Overheating can cause your laptop to reboot. Use a temperature monitoring tool to check the temperature of your laptop's components while it is running. If the temperature is consistently high, try cleaning the laptop's air vents or using a cooling pad.
    3. Run hardware diagnostics: Use your laptop's built-in hardware diagnostics tool to check for any issues with the hardware components. This can help identify if there are any hardware issues that may be causing the random reboots.
    4. Check power settings: Make sure that your laptop is set to the appropriate power settings, and that the power settings are not causing your laptop to go into sleep mode or hibernate unexpectedly.
    5. Check for malware: Malware can sometimes cause your computer to behave erratically. Use a reputable antivirus software to scan your laptop for any malware or viruses.
    6. Reset or reinstall Windows: If all else fails, you may need to reset or reinstall Windows to resolve any software conflicts or corrupted system files that may be causing the issue.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there may be a hardware problem with your laptop. In this case, you may want to contact the laptop manufacturer's support team or take the laptop to a certified repair technician for further diagnosis and repair.

2 laptops suddenly cannot log onto wifi.

Have 2 Win-10 laptops that were doing fine - Nighthawk R700P set up many months ago. Suddenly both cannot log onto wifi. Going to list of available networks, choosing "home" and disconnecting and then reconnect does not help. Suggestions? Not the greatest computer wizards here. what software is causing my laptop to suddenly reboot over and over. i have verified that... :)

Lenovo laptop wanted latest Windows update; upon rebooting everything seems fine. Other machine is actually an HP all-o\in-one, not actual laptop - but Win10 anyway. Will check if update is needed.

Now HP is OK as well. Problem began there yesterday and on Lenovo today but now both seem OK. Curiouser & curiouser as Alice said; sorry to have taken up your time.

    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)
