Both of my devices are Dell Desktop PCs.There is a third device that I'm not even attempting at this point but plan to do so after I get the first two devices connected.I have concerns about security because I know someone that eves dropped on me several years ago.I'm a little concerned, to say the least.There is a lot of sensitive information on these systems.I normally rely on just an Ethernet connection for obvious reasons.Speed is another issue.I have attempted to follow the directions that Google provides to perform this operation.Those steps include;Step 1: Go to Cont

• What is the make and model of your Windows 10 device and Smart TV?
• asus x550 LA befor the update i was using the wireless diplay, smart tv is hitachi

• How do you connect your Windows 10 device to your Smart TV? Are you using a streaming device?

• just start from the tv wireless diplay then from the laptop i open connect from the menu and connect to the tv

• Are you getting any error messages?
• yes , can't connect to tv

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• remove the device and add it again, reinstall windows 2 times, reinstall video card divers,

• What is the current OS Build of your Windows 10 PC?

Run the Hardware and Devices
troubleshooter and check.

Hardware and Devices troubleshooter checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
• Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and Devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Unable to connect to wireless internet connection on Windows 10

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
• Is this issue specific to wired/ wireless internet connection?

Try few of the below troubleshooting steps and check if you are able to access the internet connection on your device.

Step 1: Use Internet Connection Troubleshooter when the connection drops.

• Click on Network Adapter Troubleshooter.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Step 3: I suggest you to update the Network Adapter drivers and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key + x key on your keyboard.
• Select Device manager.
• Expand Network adapters. Right-click on the device and click
  Update driver software
• Restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
