Windows 10: What the F?!?! You really removed windows mixed reality and made my headset a brick?

How stupid is this company.... Honestly. No workaround at all?!?!?!?! And dont tell me steam VR because it wont work without mixed reality. I know the option is to roll back to a previous version.Just need to add another complaint from a dedicated windows user.Praying they listen and have a mixed reality alternative soon.Otherwise off to linux i guess....

I understand that you are facing issues connecting the Lenovo Mixed Reality headset and you get your message “Connect your headset”. We will certainly assist you with this issue.

Usually, we see this message if the device is not connected properly or the Device Manager is unable to load the drivers for the headset.

The use of USB or HDMI extension cables is not officially supported with Windows Mixed Reality headsets. Due to varying resulting signal integrity and bus power between your PC's USB controller and the Mixed Reality headset, the use of such cables
may significantly impact your Mixed Reality experience.

I would suggest you to check the steps under section“I get a message that says "Connect your headset" even though I’ve plugged in my headset”
in
Troubleshooting Windows Mixed Reality.

If you are using adapters you may also want to check the article on
Recommended adapters.

However, the issue could be due to the use of extension cables. Please let us know what happens when you connect the headset without using the extension cables.
