Windows 10: What the Heck is going on Microsoft?

Windows 11 23H2 22631.3527 OEM versionHas anyone else received this time zone change notification ? Time Zone Change. This computer is attached to my CNC machine which has always been in the Central Time Zone. How on earth did Microsoft feel that my computer had moved 465 miles EAST to get to the Eastern Time Zone. I would like to say a few choice words here but I won't.What in the World is going on with Windows ????? !!!

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

1. What is the make and model of the computer?
   
2. Is your computer connected to domain network?
   

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and let us know if that helps.

1. Close all your open apps: Then see if the cursor improves. If it does, the number of open apps might have been interfering with your PC’s connection to the mouse.
   
2. Restart your PC. This will refresh the drivers.
   

1. Change the cursor settings. Select the
   Start button, and then select
   Settings > Devices > Mouse > Additional mouse options >
   Pointer Options and adjust the pointer speed.

If the issue still persists try installing the latest edition of
Mouse and Keyboard Center and check the status of the issue.

I see that you have already tried changing the Bluetooth adapters, however please refer the section ‘To manually install the Bluetooth driver’
and ‘Uninstall the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager’
from the article Fix Bluetooth problems in Windows 10
to verify whether the steps you have tried was in the same procedure.

if the issue still persists.

Step 1: Check if the Program is compatible with the Windows 10 Operating system by visiting the following link:

Step 2: I would suggest you to update your graphic card drivers and check if it helps.

You can update drivers from the Device Manager.

• • Right click on start button and click on Device manager.
    
  • Select Display Drivers.
  • Right click on the Display drivers and select Properties
  • Click on the device tab and select Update driver.

Also try to install all the pending Windows updates and check the status of the issue.
