  1. What the HELL? Windows 11 murdered my WD Passport drive!

I just upgraded my Windows 10 desktop to Windows 11...only to discover that something went horribly wrong: The 2TB NTFS USB My Passport Drive P drive had vanished, replaced by an impossibly large drive with three partitions, a 32GB FAT32, and two unallocated partitions totaling 4TB physically impossible. Is there some way that I may restore this drive to its original state? I did not tell Windows to do this! It didn't even ask me if I wanted the drive reformatted; it just did it all on its own, transparently, hiding what it was doing from me! I lost almost two terabytes of data!

    :)

My WD Passport external hard drive won't open. It's listed in device manager and in the properties is listed as "working properly".
