  1. What to change for apps and games to access my input and output devices?

So I have been trying communicate with people on games that I have on my pc but for some reason it will work and other times it won't, I have tried changing the input and output devices but the results are still random to when it works, how can I fix this? games that I have tried are Valorant and Overwatch and it would sometimes work then sometimes it will not work meaning I am not able to hear people talk or talk to them, I should also mention that when I play Apex Legends I can use my mic and I can hear people talk and it always works so I really have no idea why it is happening

    :)

no input or output audio devices found

Unfortunately, that did not work. There is something listed under the sound now in the device manager and that says it is functioning, but i still have no sound and it states there are no input and output devices.

  3. No audio input or output devices found

After the last update of Windows 10, no audio devices are listed

Searching in the device manager: all audio devices say it works fine

The sound setting says: no output or input devices were found.
