Windows 10: What to do after loosing windows activation after a BIOS upgrade?

-Clicking Troubleshoot did not help- My microsoft ticket just got marked as "Issue resolved"without actually doing something .....- Removing old configurations on account.microsoft.com/devices did not work.- command line stuff found on websites did not workI am not going to buy a 260E license, and also not a cheap one with windows 12 around the corner.This should just be fixed, i got a legitimate Digital license for win11....

Activating Windows 10 after upgrade

I would like to inform that as you are using an Genuine Windows 7 in your system,
Windows 10 will automatically be activated online and create a digital entitlement for your device.

If you still face issues with Activation after upgrading to Windows 10, suggest you to activate the Operating System through phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select the Region from the list and click Next.
• Call the Toll-Free number provided on top and can activate via phone.

Activation issue after updating BIOS

I understand that you are facing issues with activation on your PC after updating BIOS, and I certainly appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue by following certain troubleshooting steps.



For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:

1. Did Windows 10 came pre-installed on your PC?
   
2. What is the error message that you receive while activating Windows?
   

Since you have already tried using the Activation troubleshooter I would suggest you to try activating the copy of Windows using Phone Activation.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type SLUI 04 and hit
   Enter.
   
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
   

In addition, you can also check if the Software Protection Service is running. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + R, type services.msc and click on
   OK.
2. Now, look for Software Protection service, right click on it and select
   Restart.
