Windows 10: What to do after losing important parts of Windows After a Reset My PC

Okay, so this is probably a very far-fetched and futile question to ask for help with, BUT:after I "Reset My PC" not only did I have to enter my pre-installed Product Key again, & it was just a fluke that I had saved it from the first time I learned the command to LOCATE it, because losing my active Windows Product Key was the absolute least of all my issues.Namely: I HAVE NO SYSTEM IMAGE!!I've lost every single IMPORTANT LINK which I need in order to run my Windows program. I cannot open my Windows Security, or the insanely hated Windows Store to try and locate a compatible app that could

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

 

Importing from iphone to windows 10 Pc

• Were you able to import photos before using Photos app on the PC?

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to perform these steps and check.



Step 1: Reset Photos App

1. Press Windows + I
   key to open Windows Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Photos app.
   
4. Select the app and click on
   Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a
   tick mark, then relaunch and check.
   

Step 2:
Uninstall app using Power shell command

1. Press Windows + X key and select
   Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Copy and paste this command, then press enter:
   Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.Windows.Photos* | Remove-AppxPackage
   
3. Close the PowerShell command and restart the PC.
   

1. Reinstall the Photos app from Microsoft Store and
   check.

Step 3: New User account

If the issue persists, then we would suggest you to create a new administrator user account and check, refer this article to
create a local user or administrator account in Windows 10.
