    Microsoft store has error 0x80246008 and wont update or download

    Error Code: 0X80246008 on Windows 10

    I can not download any updates or use the Windows store since installing Windows 10. I get error code 0X80246008. Any suggestions for fixing this that are not too complicated?

    I'v been getting this error message for a few weeks now, along with the following messages from the fail attempt windows update screen:

    • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. driver update for AMD Radeon HD 8570 - Error 0x80246008

    • Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3105210) - Error 0x80246008

    • Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3105216) - Error 0x80246008

    • Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3074686) - Error 0x80246008

    • Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3106932) - Error 0x80246008

    • Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool for Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2 x64 Edition - October 2015 (KB890830) - Error 0x80246008

    I should note that-iv done troubleshooting and was greeted by this message

    "Windows Update components must be repaired

    One or more Windows Update components are configured incorrectly."

    any help with this would be Grateful
