  1. What to do if none of my external devices will connect to my PC

Hello, so I have a PC and a few days ago the monitors I have 2 would no longer connect to it and kept saying there was no signal. I unplugged everything from the PC, cleaned out dust in it and re-plugged it all. Initially it didn't work but after a few hours I tried again and everything connected, but now it was telling me there was an issue with windows and the : screen popped up a few times, so I updated it and thought it was fixed. It worked fine for 2 days but now NONE of the devices connect to the PC like the mouse, keyboard and monitors don't respond when I turn the PC on. I unplugged

    :)

    Connecting external devices to pc

  3. Need help with connecting external pc to used for raid storage

Basically I want to set up raid in a separate pc to be used only for the hard drives.

But I don't know how I would best connect this raid setup into my computer.
    • Do I use a NIC card to gigabit over multiple channels?
    • Or perhaps a really long sata III cable?
    • I don't want to connect it over the network. I just want to directly connect it.
    Goals:
    • Access data quick
    • Keep hard drives external to PC
    • Ease of use
    • Keep costs down (hence DIY PC instead of prebuilt NAS)
    • Expandability (hence DIY PC instead of prebuilt NAS)
    How do I do this?

    See this illustration.

No sound as PC is connected to a bluetooth device.

    Hi Samuel,

As per your description, I understand that there is no sound in your PC as it shows that it is currently connected to a Bluetooth device which you do not recognize.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

    1. Have you connected your PC to Bluetooth speakers?

    2. Do you recognize the device that is connected to your PC?

    3. Does the Bluetooth device display under Control Panel > Devices and Printers?

For now, I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if you will be able to remove the device in question.

To remove the device from your PC, follow the steps below

    • Select Start > Settings > Devices >
      Bluetooth.
    • Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >
      Yes.

Your reply is very important to ensure that we provide the appropriate resolution. Do provide the above information so that we can proceed further.

    Regards
