Windows 10: What to do when error 0x80240439 still shows up even after trying common fixes?

I've tried restarting the services, ran repair tools through command prompts such as sfc /scannow, digital repair tool and others and still the error shows up like nothing changed. Any suggestions?

If you are referring to the two ideas you suggested, I tried them but didn't have any luck. That user's case is different to mine, as it tells him that he's up to date, but mine gives me the 0x80240439 error. If it is any help, I also get error -2145123271 in Windows Defender Protection Updates.

I was too facing same problem. Do you have antivirus installed? If so, disable it and then try to update. Simple fix, worked for me.*Cool
