    What to do when giving your laptop away


    Hello,I want to give my Windows 10 laptop to a friend. In the past, I would do a factory reset, perhaps twice, so that my data could not be found; however, I've been told there is now data recovery software that can retrieve deleted files.Can someone recommend a specialized software that can overwrite my entire operating system so that my own personal files and search history can never, ever be opened?Thanks, Daffy D

    I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

    Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd
