Windows 10: What USB Modem Will Work On Windows 11 Desktop

I have a desktop computer with Windows 11. I am trying to find a USB modem that will work with my system, with Verizon as my internet provider. I know I can get a wireless modem, but prefer a USB.Thank you

Micromax 3g USB Modem is not working after upgrading to Windows 10

Hi Rupesh,

I realize that 3G USB modem is not working on your PC. I will try to help you with this issue.

Plug in the USB device into another USB port to check if that helps.

Suggest you to completely uninstall the USB driver and reinstall it to check if this helps.

Follow these steps.

• 
  Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
  
• 
  In the list of devices, you should see the USB device.
  
• 
  Right click on the device driver and then select "Uninstall".
  
• 
  In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
  

In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes”
option. This will force the computer to recognize any hardware changes. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

1. Do you see network signals showing as connected in the taskbar?
   
2. May I know the model of the Vodafone modem you are using?

We would also suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to check for the drivers for modem.

1. Connect the USB modem.
   
2. Open Device Manager by searching for it in search bar.
   
3. Locate and expand Universal serial bus Controllers in the list.
   
4. Check if the driver are displayed under the tree.
