What will happen if I have more than 256TB in a raid using NTFS?

Let's talk Windows 11 24h2 16 x 20TB. I have the drives and I have a controller. I have multiple backups using smaller servers. I'm about to set it up from scratch. I'm thinking it will be about 270tb which as far as I know is over the ntfs limit. I never used REFS before. Most of what I've read is it isn't stable, it keeps getting taken away, it may not be available from one version of Windows to another.Short of using unraid, linux, raid6 within the parameters of Windows 11 what would you do?

    :)

    RAID 0 NTFS partition unreadable

    Hello there,

I created a internal RAID 0 NTFS partition (without 2x 1To HDD) on my Windows 10 computer with the native "Disk Management" tool of windows.

Other detail : Sometimes, I connect an external HDD macos formatted (to transfer some files), so I use the MacDrive10 software to use my disk.

Everything is working at this state...

Here is the problem : Now, if I uninstall the MacDrive software, my RAID 0 NTFS partition is unreadable...

Do you have any subjection to solve this issue, and why it's happening ?

    Thanks,

    Gaëtan

Can NAS over 256tb be mapped to windows via SMB?

As far as I know, NTFS only allows upto 256TBs per volume.

And also when map NAS not the NTFS to windows, the NAS recognized as NTFS.

So if the NAS goes over 256 TBs, will there be any problem when using with windows?

Or can be asked as 'Is there any limitation that windows file explorer can handle?'

What will happen if I have more than 256TB in a raid using NTFS?

Can NAS over 256tb be mapped to windows via SMB?

    Thanks!

For instance, I'd like to map with 600TB FreeBSD ZFS server with my windows 10 desktop,

There is no such a problem caused by exceeding volume limit of NTFS, with using windows 10 desktop nor using it with file explorer at all?

Even if the NAS is recognized as NTFS, file storage limitation still follows the origin OS of the 600TB server?

(I'm now just regarding NTFS' volume limit is 256TB to make sure everything)
