Windows 10: What will happen to Windows Enterprise when ME3 expires

We use Windows 10 Enterprise via Microsoft 365 E3 plan KMS deploymentWe won't renew ME3 next year. When the license expires, will Windows return to Windows Pro?I found a few answers online, some say that only the advanced features of Win Enterprise are deactivated and Windows will return to Windows Pro, some say that it will show a black screen and Windows will not automatically return to Windows Pro.

Windows 10 Enterprise Expired

Hello,

A few months ago I was having troubles with the instillation of windows 10 on my windows 8.1 computer so i decided to look around the internet and ended up downloading and instialling windows 10 enterprise now knowing exactly what it was. Once it downloaded
I saw at the bottom of my screen that I had 90 days till it expired so I got a little worried but continued using it thinking that it would go away. The 90 days have just come to an end and in the same area where it said how many days i had left, it now says
expired. I've tried looking everywhere for a solution on what to do because it doesn't let me go back to my windows 8 or upgrade from windows 10. So if anyone can give me suggestions on what to do it would be very helpful. If you need more information, just
