Unable to connect to Google servers

There are cases that web content are blocked due to proxy server settings. We suggest that you remove the check mark on the the proxy server box, follow the steps below:

• Type Internet Options in the Ask me anything bar.
• Click on Connections tab.
• Click on LAN settings.
• Remove check in Proxy server box.
  

Once done, access your Google apps and check if issue persist.

If you're using a proxy server, it is possible that the issue is with the proxy settings. We recommend checking for the proxy settings to see if it is correct. To access the proxy settings, follow these steps:

• Click the Windows logo (Start button).
• Click the gear icon (Settings).
• Select Network & Internet.
• On the left pane, choose Proxy.

If the proxy settings are correct, we recommend that you disable Use a proxy server and enable
Automatically detect settings. After enabling the automatic settings, check if you will be able connect to the Internet.

Can not connect to proxy server.

Hey, so I went home this weekend and took my laptop from school and when I returned to my apartment my laptop would not connect to the wifi. I got error messages saying I had no Internet connection but my network says it is connected. I can connect to
the wifi on my phone and ipad and so can my roommate. After doing a Internet diagnosis I got a message saying windows can't connect to the proxy server. I have looked at the other questions like this but I am the furthest thing from computer tech savvy.
Can someone help me find steps to fix this in simple steps to follow?
